Beef and Bell Pepper Stir-Fry
Ingredients
1 small steak (any cheap cut), thinly sliced
1 Green bell pepper, sliced
1/4 cup Soy sauce
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp sesame oil
2 Tbsp rice vinegar
1 Inch ginger, grated
2 Cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp corn starch
splash of water
Recipe
Sear sliced beef for about 2-4 minutes, until browned on both sided. Set aside.
In the same pan, sauté bell pepper for 5-7 minutes until soft.
Meanwhile, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, 1 clove garlic, and brown sugar in a small bowl and mix. Combine cornstarch and water to form a slurry and add to sauce.
Add 1 clove garlic to bell peppers and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Return beef to pan and heat through
Add sauce and reduce until thickened
Serve over rice
